I'm taking U.S. history this semester and my professor has just informed me that he uses a lot of maps in his class. I was just wondering if any of you know where I can get raised maps of different countries. Does anyone know? Your help will be much appreciated!!! Thanks in advance.

Hi. The American Printing House for the Blind at www.aph.org has several map stuff, including a puzzle map of the U.S., some world maps, and some map books with state maps I believe. I think there might be some other places like that that carry maps, but that's the one I found with the most choices.

Look up the Princeton Braillist. They have the best maps I've come across. The maps offered by APH are made by them anyway. You can purchase from them directly and save yourself a lot of money. They're not that expensive at all considering the quality. I would suggest getting the world atlas. It covers the entire world by section.
There are some other really nice maps that I got, but those you have to get from Germany and aren't exactly cheap.

Yeah, Princeton makes excellent maps. They have a whole bunch of them too. I used them a lot for Global.
What countries do you need? I have a lot of braille maps that I have brought from The Netherlands. I might have wht you need if I do I can send it to you. Let me know by private message here on the zone. Star
